Cowan rodeo team consists of Patrick, Breelyn, Hayden and Logan and Sydney Cowan. All but Logan competed in High School rodeo this year with her first year being the 2008 season. Patrick calf ropes, steer wrestles and team ropes while Breelyn barrel races, breakaways, pole bends, and occasionally team ropes. Hayden is currently heeling steers and working on steer wrestling. Logan competes in breakaway, poles and barrels.

Logan and Tuesday Logan and Tuesday added many 4H belt buckle wins in the pole bending during the 2006 season. Tuesday, a 2000 Docs Oaks Sugar gelding, also pinch hits as a heel horse, breakaway horse, and doggin horse when needed. Pat and Snoopy Pat had a succesful 2008 tour during the high school and 4H season aboard Hayden's Docs Oaks Sugar gelding who also doubles as Hayden's heeling mount. Pat and Snoopy took home the South Dakota 4H Steer Wrestling saddle and then went on to lead his college circuit for the fall rodeos. Tigh hazes on Pat's heading mount, a son of Boon Dox John out of Cowan Kitten, dam to T4 stallions PC Gunner Wood and PC Sun Wood. Hayden and Snoopy Hayden competing on his all around mount 'Snoopy'. Sydney and Seeker Sydney Cowan starting her 4H rodeo career aboard Sun Frost gelding, "Seeker". Bree and PC Nikita Wood Breelyn and PC Sun Wood daughter, PC Nikita Wood, sweep the 2007 South Dakota High School Finals pole bending. 2006 SD 4H Finals Breelyn Cowan winning her 2006 Breakaway title on her 2000 Docs Oaks Sugar gelding, Badger.
